Name: Kinny Killa
Age: 28
Job Title: Business Developer by day, Host of Sunday Segue by night!
Started Watching Wrestling:
I started watching wrestling when we thought it was real and we believed in these larger than life superstars back in 1991.
1st Wrestling Memory:
I had caught a glimpse of WWF while I was at my cousin’s house because we didn’t have cable back then but he did. I saw the Ultimate Warrior on WWF Superstars saying he was going to beat Sgt Slaughter at the Royal Rumble. His face paint and larger than life character made me want to see more. I asked my dad if he could get a recording of Royal Rumble and the rest was history. That was 1991 and I’m still crazy about wrestling.
Favourite Wrestler Today & Why:
Daniel Bryan without a doubt because this guy has managed to learn his craft all around the world and has become a ring general with so much class and precision that it makes you sit up and applaud his work. Apart from the fact that he could have an amazing match with a broomstick, he stands for someone who is a normal person who had a dream and is definitely living it. Hard work & dedication pays off.
Favourite Wrestler Of All Time & Why.
Shawn Michaels!! The Rockers were my favourite Tag Team back then and HBK was amazing man. Doing moves you could only dream of and then he became a singles superstar and took his heel gimmick to another level. What really stuck with me was his ascendancy to the WWF Title and that Sweet Chin Music to a “Boyhood Dream” at Wrestlemania 12 which I completely marked out for. More noticeable was HBK’s ability to be out for 4 years and comeback better than ever. He took wrestling performances to a new level and I can honestly say that I believe Shawn Michaels to be the best in-ring performer to ever hit a squared circle.
