Wwe royal rumble review

Kick off show
New age outlaws win tag belts. Good. Feel old though that I was 17 in 1999 when they last won championships.

Bryan v Wyatt
No doubt about it, this was match of the year. Nice surprise Wyatt getting the win.

Lesnar v Show
Lesnar murders Big Show via steel chair and looked like a monster. That is how heels should be built. Bad ass heel doing bad ass things and Mark Henry will come back and stop him.

I may be in the minority here but I thought, for what it was, the orton v cena match was good. The false finishes at the end had me on the edge of my seat and Wyatt interfering was a fantastic way to have orton keep belt and start a new feud for cena.

Enjoyed rumble match. However it was ruined by the crowd. Rey Mysterio turned heel for the night just for not being Bryan. Wasn't surprised with Batista winning and Roman Reigns looked amazing.

Overall this was a very enjoyable ppv and I don't mind how it ended. People will shit on it but I see it as: Wwe are shit on for not making stars for the future. In this one night Wyatt became a mega star and a new feud was introduced between cena and Wyatt. Roman Reigns captured record for most eliminations and is now a main event player. Now we have a possible main event line up of fresh stars of Cody Rhodes, Wyatt, Bryan, Rollins, Ambrose and Reigns.

Also Batista winning didn't bother me like it did the crowd. I give the ppv 9/10 and in the words of Ric Flair, on the panel, learn to love it.

WWE Royal Rumble Review

Kick Off Show:
I quite enjoyed this match i thought it was a good way to start the show. The result however i won't judge until i see what happens with it. If it turns out to be a easy way to get the belts across to The Usos then i will accept it.

Bryan v Wyatt:
This match was incredible and will definitely be up for Match Of The Year come the next Slammy Awards (Unless Triple H has a match with Bray and doesn't want someone having a better match than him)

Brock Lesner v Big Show:
I thought this was perfect for what it was. Lesner looked ruthless and in all honesty looked like a monster. Will be a great call back towards Mania when going for the Title or facing Undertaker which ever they go with.

Orton v Cena:
What else can be said? These guys have had so many matches they all feel the same. It had some good moments and im looking forward to seeing how they pit Cena against The Wyatt's. Lets hope he doesn't AA all 3 of them at once!

Rumble Match:
I enjoyed the match quite alot. They handled Reigns perfectly and he looked fantastic , CM Punk is heading where we all expected and having him eliminated that way does no damage to him what so ever. He was in the match a long time so he didnt go out with a wimper. The spots with Kofi was enjoyable as always. Regarding the result it was a safe bet to give Batista the win but considering they are trying to cram so much star power into Wrestlemania i dont see it being a problem. I would of prefered Punk or Bryan to win it but i see them winning the rumble match in future. I dont see alot of people being all that up for Batista v Orton for the title but if it turns into Lesner v Batista i think alot of people will be looking forward to it and it will make Batista winning the rumble look like a solid booking.

Overall the show for me was a 7/10 but if it leads to Batista v Brock and also The Uso's getting the Titles then looking back on the ppv i would push it to an 8/10 it just lacked some WOW moments.
